Accessibility
All pages on this site aim to be accessible to W3C AA compliance or better, complying with priority 1 and 2 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Not all the guidelines can be automatically checked. With this in mind every effort has been made manually to check our pages.
Navigation
The navigation bar on this website is built using cascading stylesheets, and some interactive features may use javascript, however if your browser does not support either of these technologies the menu will still work as a text list. Alternative clear text pages are being prepared throughout the site and instructions for access and use of these will be included shortly.
Resizing text
The fonts and text sizes have been set so you can alter them with your browser. For example within Internet Explorer go to "View / Text Size" and alter accordingly.
Should you encounter any difficulties relating to the level of accessibility of certain pages, please do not hesitate to report the problem to webmaster@ahi2000.com
PDF Files
Some downloads on the site web pages are in the Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Most computers have Adobe Reader software installed to enable you to access these files. However, if you don't have this the links below will assist. One is an Adobe reader and the other an independent alternative. Both are free to download and use.
Alternatively if your browser does not support this technology you can convert any PDF file to text or html here at this link:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/access_onlinetools.html
Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 6 onwards) includes applications which can greatly assist users. These include a Narrator and a Magnifier. The Narrator can read nearly all the text on these pages and indicate links and navigation options through spoken words (if you have sound working on your system). The Magnifier enables you to zoom in on any part of a page.
These tools can be found on most Windows computers under Start | All Programs | Accessories | Accessibility
Quick zoom can also be achieved by holding down Ctrl then Shift and then the + key
